Being a midwife and a mum of four has taught me that no two women or babies are the same.
In the last thirteen years I have worked as a LMC midwife in Auckland, a core midwife in the birthing unit at Middlemore and most recently at Tauranga Hospital. I now am working as a LMC in the community of Tauranga with a caseload of lovely families.
I have had experience from normal, low risk births to very complicated, high risk births.
I've witnessed almost every birth scenario in my professional life and have had four very different personal birth experiences and have four children that have different parenting needs.
Whether you want a home birth or caesarean section, want to breastfeed or bottle feed, want to co-sleep with your baby or have them sleep in their own room, I will provide you with the latest research and information to equip you to make the right choices for you and your family.

I have been a midwife for 8 years (6 of those in the United States). I have four kids and an awesome husband.
I was a registered nurse for 19 years in paediatrics as well. I currently work as the manager at Bethlehem Birthing Centre. My prior experience was in out of hospital birth at home or birth centre.
I believe in education and empowerment during your pregnancy. A person needs all the information in order to best make an informed choice and decision in care, and it should be unbiased and objective. I have had three very different experiences in my own birthing journeys. I believe in supporting your choices.
